I was sick all weekend. Nasty stuff. That meant no cigars until tonight. Choose to keep it kinda mild with a CAO MX2 that I got recently from the lotto that I won. It had been resting for 8 months before I got it and the cello was getting nice and yellow. MX2 indicates it’s a double Maduro with a Maduro wrapper and binder.

cao mx2 cigar

This was a good choice for tonight

Tasting notes:

CAO mx2 8/19 – dark oily wrapper. Well built. Fired up with a good amount of  pepper. Calms to a good earth and cocoa combo.  Good draw. Smoke pours from this cigar, even at rest. Woody retro. Mild flavor but medium bodied. Flavors pick up at halfway but still of earth and cocoa. Burn has been straight and sharp. More pronounced cocoa in last third. Pepper returns.

This cigar put out a ton of smoke, even at rest.
