7-20-4

In just a few more hours it’ll be 7:24pm, on July 24th (7/24). Therefore I’ll be toasting up this cigar: the 7-20-4 Hustler that I stashed in my humidor a few weeks ago.

7-20-4 is a once defunct brand of old, now K.A. Kendall's boutique cigars

Brazilian Mata Fina and Ecuadorian Connecticut wrappers are combined for the barber pole effect. It has a Brazilian binder and Nicaraguan fillers. I’ll have more about this cigar later.

Looking forward to toasting this one

tasting quick notes:
7-20-4 Hustler – blended wrapper really causes a lot of flavor changes. Medium flavor and body, good smoke. Good burn, well built cigar. Good draw on the cut. Flavors all over the board: pepper, wood, earth, chocolate, coffee, pepper and sweetness interchange. Pepper really picks up at the end of the 2nd third, but interchanging puffs of sweet chocolate make it intriguing.
